HORIZONS, ILLUSIONS, ECHOES was our most recent themed group show at THE COMMA. Through painting, photography, mixed media and sculpture, the exhibition brought together 35 artists from across Western New York and beyond. The work explored shifting viewpoints, mirrored spaces and the echoes between what is real and what is imagined. Artists reflected on horizons both literal and metaphorical, along with layers, complexity and perception through movement, perspective and repetition.

The opening reception took place on Wednesday, November 5, and welcomed guests for an evening of art, conversation and connection. Visitors explored the exhibition, and met participating artists while experiencing HORIZONS, ILLUSIONS, ECHOES for the first time. The People's Choice Award went to Anna Dubinsky for her painting, You Should Have Cried.
