Our first CONVO brought together artists Karen Tashjian, Mark Severson, and Jennifer Dowdell for a lively and memorable morning at the gallery.

Guests gathered over coffee and sweets to hear the artists share their creative processes, personal journeys, and the inspirations behind their work. Karen Tashjian spoke about how her background in architecture informs her abstract paintings, Mark Severson discussed capturing stillness through photography, and Jennifer Dowdell explored the layered meanings in her collage art.

Midway through the morning, a sudden spring storm knocked out the power, but the conversation never faltered. Surrounded by natural light and the energy of an engaged audience, the dialogue carried on, turning an unexpected challenge into part of the experience.
