Opening reception will be held from

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 2.

 

This show will present a curated collection of works by curators Liz Birardi, Tami Fuller and Christina Paul together with artists Joanne Goellner, Eileen Pleasure and Sara Zak by invitation. 

 

VISION, VOICE, VERACITY is intended as a reflection of the combined voices and perspectives of the three women artists turned curators who have operated this gallery space in the former MUSEjar location at the corner of Elm and Main Street since July of last year. Each artist chose an artist that they admire to join them in a showing of work. Liz Birardi chose Sara Zak, Tami Fuller chose Joanne Goellner and Christina Paul chose Eileen Pleasure. Each curator will assemble a selection of their personal body of work to complement 2-3 pieces of work by the chosen artist.

 

VISION, VOICE, VERACITY opens on Thursday, May 2 and will be on view through May 25. An opening reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. A mid-show reception will be hosted from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the East Aurora Spring Art Walk on Friday, May 10. 

 

The COMMA will host a closing party on May 25 and CONVO @ The COMMA artists sessions will  be held throughout the month. Dates and topics will be announced on their website and social media. 

 

The COMMA Fine Art Gallery is located at 17 Elm Street

in East Aurora.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and by appointment.
