A BIT ABOUT ME
A professional artist, working primarily in an abstract-realism style. Through differing balances of colour, brushwork and paint applications I try to create a time and place for my subject matter, whether it be a landscape, animal or stilllife. I find inspiration in the depth of colour and form in the natural world, rural vistas, beach, marsh, shorelines, although I am equally inspired in the studio setting painting a stilllife. A classically trained painter having earned a BFA with a concentration in painting, awarded The Faculty of Arts and Letters for outstanding achievement in the field of Art BFA University of Buffalo at Buffalo NY. Owned and operated Deborah R Hill Interiors, a
residential & commercial design business Buffalo NY 1997-2010. Returned to painting full time 2010.
